At first glance, the Afterdark Halo is a sleek, shadow-dark band—an ultra-deep charcoal gray that appears almost black. Charge it beneath sunlight or a strong light, and the entire ring reveals its second life: an intense green glow that comes alive when the lights go out.
Its smooth, domed Halo profile makes the transformation even more striking. There are no ordinary inlays, stones, or glowing stripes—the ring itself changes from understated to unmistakable. A subtle handcrafted texture gives every Afterdark Halo its own character, so no two will look exactly alike.

Recharge it again and again with sunlight, a bright lamp, or UV light. Glow intensity and duration will vary based on how strongly and how long the ring is charged.
Handmade to order
Every Black Lume ring is crafted and finished by hand, one at a time. Small variations are part of what makes each piece individual rather than mass-produced. Please allow 2–4 weeks for crafting before shipping; carrier transit time begins after the ring is complete.
How the glow works
The luminous material is photoluminescent—there are no batteries or electronics. Charge it with direct sunlight, UV light, or another strong light source. It will glow brightest immediately after charging, then gradually soften in darkness. Brightness and duration vary with the light source, charging time, glow color, and surrounding darkness. Recharge it whenever you want.
Choosing your ring size
Sizes are listed in U.S. ring sizing. Please confirm your size with a jeweler or rigid ring sizer before ordering; string and printable guides can be inaccurate. Band width and profile affect fit, and wider rings may feel more snug. If you are between sizes, contact us before placing your order.
Final sale + first-order resize
Because your ring is handcrafted to your selected size and finish, all sales are final. Your first Black Lume ring order includes one complimentary resize. Contact us before sending it back; some materials cannot be resized traditionally, so the correct sizing solution may require a size-corrected remake or exchange.
MATERIALS + CRAFT
Handcrafted and hand-finished using premium ring blanks, high-purity resin, and high-output photoluminescent material. Natural variation is part of the piece.
